The Government has proposed to pass the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Bill 2013 in the Budget session of Parliament. Many see this is as a step that will do irreparable damage to the metro and other cities of India, as it would inviting people to take to street vending as a means of livelihood. What do you think

    However, mandating a minimum number of hawkers is unwarranted

    ya this is right thing the street retailors because the normal retailors can not earn profit because of this so this is create definatlyy damage loss.

    Problem of terrific Traffic will be faced by commuters. The culture will be deteriorated and crime will also increase.

    Haphazard manner of hawking is already congesting city roads. The Bill will further damage city spaces. Strict Timings should be adhered for hawking.
