Do you believe that for mother-in-laws also, there must be a retirement age as it is in all other professions.

Many daughter in laws complain that the one major problem they have with their mother in law is that she interferes too much in all matters. This often stems from the mother-in-law’s unwillingness to step down from running the household and give up power. While all professions normally specify an age for stepping down, there is no such age for mother-in-laws. Should there be such an age. What do you say

    If the daughter in law finds it too suffocating then she and her husband shift out rather than expect the mother in law to only watch

    Taking over with rights on the things structured by Mother in Law may hurt but taking over with love may hand over it with dignity to her successor

    Its about adjusting and generating space in the heat of all in laws, by giving your best you can see interfering as advises and guidance from elders.

    There can’t be one as it is a family set up. It is but obvious that daughters and daughter-in-laws take over and automatically she retires.
