Do you believe that cancellation of the coal block allocations will affect the economy?

Do you believe that the PM Mr. Modi’s statement in London that his government is committed to protecting every Indian citizen’s life and views is to be appreciated.

There is a demand upon the present government to cancel all the allocation of coal blocks. On the other hand the government says it will not do so. Both parties have good reasons for their respective positions taken by them. What is your view in this regards.

    Because reallocation will mean a lot of waste of valuable time.

    Because cancellations will send the wrong signal to the world that, decisions of the Indian government can be reversed at any time.

    cancel and remove all fraud and prices of coal will only come down and not go up.

    There will be no impact as Coal block can be given to rightful bidder after re submission of interests and a msg to all scamsters will go.

    It wll lead to increase in import of coal,increase in project cost rather govt shud cancel those blocks on which extraction not yet started.

    Because cancellation means retender or auction, which means higher cost of coal, which in turn means higher cost of thermal power.
